The inaugural Mending Party was held at Crack in The Sidewalk Farmlet in historic South Atlanta, as a celebration of my birth. Participants brought clothes and objects in need of repair. Mending supplies were provided, as well as consultation. Throughout the afternoon, people taught each other not only various methods of mending, but also knitting and hand embroidery.
This is a project I hope to be repeating monthly or bi-monthly starting in the Summer of 2018.

Kudzu Weaving at Penland with Junco Sato Pollack
I was the studio assistant for Junco Sato Pollack at Penland in the Summer of 2013. I assisted in harvesting, cooking, cleaning, and processing the kudzu; as well as helping teach fellow students backstrap weaving using a Karen warping technique.
